Rent och fint med ett vackert läge vid sjön. Vi hade ett hundrum med egen ingång, Tack för service med vattenskål, handduk och ett tuggben, toppen! |Vi kommer gärna tillbaka så vi hinner basta och paddla lite kajak.||

Love this hotel. Rooms are sparse with tiny single beds but the showers are hot and the room is warm.
Located next to a massive ice lake.
Possibly the most beautiful icey location in the world.
Food was unexpectedly really great! Lunch breakfast and dinner was delicious.
The traditional Finnish wood sauna was pricey but a good experience. Try taking a snow bath after to cool down.
Hiking across the lakes was a wonderful experience.
The northern lights were utterly stunning.
I truly recommend this hotel for a life experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location on the shores of the lake is magical. My studio room, which had a kitchenette and bathroom, was spotless. The underfloor heating kept the temperature nice and cosy (and was wonderful for drying out damp clothes). The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and made from local produce. The option to book a sauna for private hour-long sessions was a bonus. ||All the equipment we used for our activities - ice fishing, husky safari, snowshoeing etc. - was in tiptop condition, and the guides were great too. I would also highly recommend taking a trip out to visit the reindeer herders. Seeing so many of these animals up close in their natural environment and learning about Sami traditions was incredible. ||We went to see the northern lights, but they proved elusive! However, this is just another reason to go back.

Excellent amazing place very knowledgeable guides .Room was a studio with kettle so could make a coffee nice comfy beds and under floor heating nice and cosy. The restaurant was very homely plenty to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner so never felt hungry. The activities were amazing reindeer safari, husky sledding , snowmobiling ,ice fishing ,free use of kick sledges snow shoes skis and toboggans nice warm outdoor clothes given for duration of stay . And the icing on the cake got to see northern lights 5 out of 7 awesome. Would definitely recommend first class A++++

This is an amazing place. The location, 240k |north of the Arctic circle. is very isolated and surrounded by pristine snow and the vast expanse of the frozen lake and forest |It is worth trying all the activities even if like me, you don’t like the cross country skiing. The night time snowshoeing and snowmobile driving in search of the Northern lights were both exciting. We did see some good displays. The visit to the reindeer herders was a highlight for me. |While the hotel is not luxurious, it is spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. All staff members are helpful and friendly. The food is hearty, healthy and plentiful and well cooked. The thermal suits gloves and boots were effective in keeping out the extreme cold.

La struttura, situata di fronte un lago (ghiacciato quando ci sono stata io) è spartana ed offre l'essenziale, la camera ha letti singoli ed il bagno è ristretto. La cucina offerta è quella prettamente locale ed è stata di mio gradimento. Una sera abbiamo cenato all'interno della loro kota con un grande fuoco al centro ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Consigliato.

fin troppo spartano questo hotel. Se si può definire hotel...io direi più "ostello" Scelta cibo scarsissima sia a colazione che a pranzo che a cena (per chi ha problemi con l'alimentazione non ha molta scelta). Io ci sono stata 4 giorni e ho notato che quasi sempre c'era pesce. Ok, va bene. A me piace. Ma a chi non piace il pesce? si accontenta solo delle verdure...anche perché il personale mi è sembrato molto poco collaborativo...una sera in una specie di insalata di riso ho trovato un capello. L'ho fatto notare e non hanno fatto una piega, della serie "chissenefrega".
Cioè diciamo che la posizione è meravigliosa ma non aspettatevi niente dal servizio. Ero in camera con un'amica che ha chiesto un cuscino che lo abbiamo trovato lanciato in qualche modo sulle valigie appoggiate a terra. Mah! No, io per quello che ho pagato non mi ritengo soddisfatta. L'unica cosa positiva è che un ragazzo dell'hotel mentre aspettavamo nella piccola sala d'attesa di vedere l'aurora boreale, ci ha detto di sbrigarci ad uscire perché si stava formando. È stato davvero molto gentile.

5 star experience if you do all of the planned activities! Yes rooms are basic but the history as a boarding school provides background. Food was plentiful and local. Equipment used during activities was great quality. Overall a fantastic experience!
